Menghua Jia(*1992) is a Chinese design researcher and artist based in the Netherlands whose work explores themes of cultural identity, human rights, censorship, and the notion of “foreign.” Transcending geographical boundaries, she interlaces vibrant threads of personal narrative with broader historical and social commentary.

She is currently part of The Critical Inquiry Lab master program at Design Academy Eindhoven.

Resides and works in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
